Successful Communicator
The Würzburg bee researcher Jürgen Tautz has received the 2012 Communicator Award of the German Research Foundation. With this award, the Foundation honors Tautz' numerous activities with which he communicates his research findings to the public. The award is endowed with prize money of 50,000 euros.
HOBOS Nominated for the Clean Tech Media Award 2011
The Clean Tech Media Award is granted annually to innovative projects in the categories “energy”, “mobility”, “communication”, “lifestyle” and “new talent” by Clean Tech Media Ltd. (Berlin). The result of the public voting is fixed. HOBOS has made it into the final round and is nominated for the category “communication” along with two other candidates. On September 16 2011, the five prize winners of the Clean Tech Media Award 2011 will be honored at a gala in Hamburg’s Curio House.
Bionade hands over a 5.000 Euro award to HOBOS
Bionade, an international beverage manufacturer from Ostheim, Bavaria, hands a bonus, including 10.000 Euro prize money, in equal parts to two pioneering local bee projects. HOBOS receives a 5.000 Euro bonus, an equal sum goes to the Rhöner Honig-Raiffeisen cooperative association.(German)

HOBOS official project of UN World Decade 2009 / 2010
The United Nations proclaimed the World Decade of Education and Sustainable Development for the years 2005 through 2014. HOBOS will be rewarded by the German National Committee of the UN Decade “Education and Sustainable Development” and is an official project of the World Decade in 2009 / 2010. The United Nations entrusted the implementation of this Decade globally to UNESCO.(German)
HOBOS wins in a collegiate competition of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) a prize money of 10.000 Euro
Within the collegiate competition “Alltagstauglich” of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) HOBOS won a prize money of 10.000 Euro in the science year 2009.(German)
EMBO hands over a 2.500 Euro-prize to Prof. Tautz
The European Molecular Biology Organization EMBO honored Professor Dr. Tautz with the communication award in the amount of 2.500 Euro.(German)
