This foundation expresses the responsibility for public and social engagement of the Bavarian "Sparkasse" Banks. The foundation of the Bavarian "Sparkasse" Banks supports the diversity of community projects. At present, it directs its focus toward innovative museum pedagogy, environmental education and telemedicine. Hereby regional responsibility is of great importance. The foundation solely supports actions affecting inter-regional or Bavarian interests and thus complements the community-oriented work of the 73 Bavarian "Sparkasse" Banks and its 103 local foundations.  

Der Bayerische Elternverband e.V. (BEV) ist seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 1968 der Verband für alle Eltern in Bayern. Der BEV setzt sich für die individuelle Förderung aller Kinder und Jugendlichen ein, unabhängig davon, aus welchem Elternhaus sie stammen und welche Bildungseinrichtung sie besuchen. Individuelle Förderung vermittelt Kindern und Jugendlichen die Fähigkeit, ihren Platz im Leben zu finden. Dazu müssen Lehrer und Erzieher das einzelne Kind betrachten. Denn alle jungen Menschen haben Anspruch auf gleiche Bildungschancen. Der Bayerische Elternverband unterstützt die Eltern dabei, ihren Kindern diese Chancen zu bieten. Im eigenen Interesse muss Bayern alles daran setzen, alle jungen Menschen optimal auszubilden und zu einem möglichst hohen Bildungsabschluss zu führen.

Der Diözesan-Caritasverband ist Spitzenverband der katholischen Wohlfahrtspflege im Bistum Fulda. Als solcher übernimmt er im Auftrag des Bischofs den Dienst am Nächsten, der neben Verkündigung und Eucharistie zu dem Grundauftrag der katholischen Kirche zählt. Ausgangspunkt der Caritas-Arbeit sind die ca. 220 Kirchengemeinden im Bistum Fulda, in denen zahlreiche ehrenamtliche Helfer gemeindenah caritative Hilfe leisten. Gleichzeitig ist der Caritasverband für die Diözese Fulda auch Trägerverband für stationäre Einrichtungen der Altenhilfe (Altenpflegeheime, Seniorenwohnanlagen und einem Taubblindenheim), Einrichtungen für behinderte Menschen (Werkstätten, Wohnheime) sowie für Kinder und Jugendliche (Heime, dezentrale Wohngruppen). Als Dachverband besteht eine der Aufgaben in der Beratung und Betreuung der fünf Mitgliedsorganisationen in Fulda, Marburg, Geisa, Main-Kinzig-Kreis und Nordhessen-Kassel. Zudem gestaltet der Verband als Mitglied der Liga der Freien Wohlfahrtsverbände in Hessen die Sozial- und Gesellschaftspolitik in Hessen mit. Dabei sieht sich der Diözesan-Caritasverband als Anwalt sozial Benachteiligter und Notleidender.

Der dlv betreibt zusätzlich das Internetforum landlive.de/Imkerei, das von vielen Imkern als Informationsquelle genutzt wird.

Der Fonds der Chemischen Industrie mit Sitz in Frankfurt a. M. ist das Förderwerk des Verbandes der Chemischen Industrie e.V. (VCI) für die Grundlagenforschung, den wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchs und den Chemieunterricht an Schulen. Entscheidungsgremium ist das Kuratorium. Ihm gehören zwölf Forschungsleiter der chemischen Industrie und sechs Hochschullehrer der Chemie an. Der Fonds führt eine Vielzahl sich ergänzender und aufeinander abgestimmter Fördermaßnahmen durch. Im Bereich Hochschulförderung vergibt er Forschungsmittel für Spitzen- und Nachwuchswissenschaftler an Hochschulen und Forschungseinrichtungen. Studierende, Doktoranden, Habilitanden und herausragende Nachwuchsdozenten können entsprechende Stipendien beantragen. Im Rahmen des Projektes „Schulpartnerschaft Chemie“ fördert der Fonds den experimentellen Unterricht an Schulen mit einem ganzen Bündel unterschiedlicher Maßnahmen. Außerdem vergibt der Fonds Preise und Auszeichnungen an Wissenschaftler, Lehrer, Lehrbuchautoren und Schüler und führt verschiedene wissenschaftliche Veranstaltungen durch.

Science Bridge introduces demanding molecular-genetic experiments at schools. Science Bridge implements a sustainable strategy when doing so; teachers get involved in experiments and get a chance to learn by running the experiments themselves. The "learning by doing" strategy is fostered by annual teacher seminars in university laboratories.
